The vulnerability in the mod_copy module of Proftpd was disclosed a couple
months back. Most servers using Proftp are still vulnerable to attacks as
they're using older versions of the software. If you're using Proftpd version
1.3.5 or before, your server is vulnerable and it's just a matter of time before
someone takes advantage of that vulnerability. So, I thought I'd do a write up
about the same, including a demonstration of how easy and terrifying the
Who all are affected?
AnyI've been using Kali Linux 2.0 for a couple of weeks and one thing I missed from
the default install was the tor browser.
As it turns out, Kali does not come pre-installed with tor. But fear not, I'll
help you in setting up tor in your Kali desktop. Trust me, it's easier than you
think. I'm pretty sure that you know what tor is and what is it used for,
otherwise you wouldn't be here reading how to install it on Kali, eh? 😉
Step 1: Installing Tor
There are several ways you can install tor, theIf you're reading this, that probably means you know what Cyanogenmod is and you
want to install it in your Moto E. There is no point in writing something up
about CM and how great it is, which you're not gonna read anyway. So, let's get

post is about the 3G variant, and not the 4G one.

they get confused when told about LAMP instead of XAMPP. Let me explain this to
you. LAMP stands for Linux Apache MySQL and PHP. ie, it is a stack of Apache,
MySQL, and PHP in a Linux environment.
Now, what is XAMPP? Well, it is something similar, but it's like an all in one
package, you get a lot of things ( that includes those packages you need and you
don't need )
For example, the XAMPP version 1.83 has the folloIf you wanted to root your Motorola Moto E 2nd Generation ( 3G version / Moto E

you to use custom operating systems ( or as said in case of Android devices -
custom ROMs ) you need to have an unlocked bootloader. Why? Well, because your

ubuntu desktop wallpaper ( Ubuntu 14.04/15.04, or whatever version that is

is not enabled in compiz. Fixing this is an easy task. Here is how you could fix
First of all, you need a terminal to type in some commands. For that, try

15.04+ or Centos 7, you're gonna need systemd.
Because these operating systems use systemd rather than init. Before we get into
how to use systemd,
we should have a basic idea about what it is. Systemd is a suite of daemons,
libraries and utilities
designed as a central management and configuration platform for the Linux
computer operating system.

method works with other versions of centos or fedora too.
Here's how you will do it.
We have to add the repository to install tor. For that, we need to create a new

(Please note that you need to be root to edit this file)
sudo gedit /etc/yum.repos.d/torproject.repo
Now, paste the following text into that file
